Keep Practicing
Apparently someone hacked into my NG account and posted a review for this animation. The review was deleted and I ended up watching this animation just to see what this person had reviewed. Well I think I'll actually review this animation and try to give you (Steely) constructive criticism, hopefully without being replied to in a negative fashion.
The artwork was subpar, falling below the standards set for modern Flash animations as one with almost no ability to draw can make a decent background. Just practice with gradients and keeping things neat, but remember that not everything is perfect and it is better to make man-made objects more symmetrical and finished than artwork of nature.
The character design (for the first two characters seen) is interesting. It's not bad (although it could use a little work); I like how it isn't something used everyday.
The audio in this animaiton was okay, the voice acting could be a bit better, but really the script needs more improvement than the voice acting. It sounded old and forced. Don't try to be too funny.
Finally, the actual animation of this movie: there was little animation overall, and the animation that was present was either too smooth or too choppy. Not everything is perfectly smooth, however, not everything moves in a shaky manner. Practice lip-syncing and incorporate that into your animations instead of just blinking mouths. Reduce the amount of times the characters blink, as it became very noticable. Instead of having, for example, a character glide in front of the sofa and essentially jump up onto it, animate hands reaching out and pulling the body up onto the sofa. Overall, put a little more effort into it and practice some key skills, and you'll be set.
P.S. Please don't make intros as long as the one on this animation.
